Description
VAMS Advance Provider Tactical Medicine K9 Course is designed to meet the needs of pre-hospital providers supporting K9 operations, or providers serving in an area with the potential for an encounter with a sick or wounded K9. This course also supports the educational needs of providers that provided direct care to operational K9s in support of SAR and USAR operations.
As K9 operations increase, the probability that Pre-Hosptial Providers may encounter a K9 patient has grown expediently over the past decade. providers today need to understand the importance of having the ability manage a sick or a traumatically injured K9.
